This painting represents how, as children, we are open, excited to learn, and aren’t ashamed of how we look, act, or dress. As time goes on, our interests change, and we become more of “in this world.” And, as the world starts to weigh us down with responsibility, yielding to the so-called norm, we grow tired and sometimes feel we are floating away.
